However The UK is committing £75m to help Britons stranded abroad by chartering rescue flights when there are no other routes available.
The announcement was made by Foreign Secretary Dominic Raab at the daily Downing Street briefing on the coronavirus.
I had a lovely walk with Luna this morning. As it’s quiet in the mornings I can take her off the lead and as long as I rattle the box of treats she normally comes back and respects the 2M social distancing rules. It is definitely a social world this dog walking thing and I today I exchanged my first telephone number! She wasn’t even walking a dog but just having her daily exercise. A lovely lady called Lucy with three similar aged kids to us – but only returned back last year from wait for it… 2 years on a catamaran chartering to Oz and back! How awesome is that! I love it! Very inspiring to meet someone who has gone against the grain and taken kids out of school, home tutored or boat tutored even, with very little bit experience and she’s now applied for her PGCE from Sept onwards! And she loved Luna!
We came back to have a yummy fruit salad and then PE With Joe Wicks. Matt was working so it was just me and the kids. And standards deffo slipping as you will see by the PJ attire- oh dear slippery slope!

Arushi and Millen are both on hols now so Arushi took herself to bed with a book.
After some school work we then had some story times with David Walliams and then some art with flextangles.

We then launched into lunch of sweet corn chowder and cookies (all lip smackingly good).
We had a Pilates session with Eliza and as always so lovely to see friends! It’s so great to see them but also then makes me realise how isolating ( if you pardon the pun) this all is and how amazing it will be when we can socialise again!
The boys managed to finish their map of the local area !

This inspired us to get up to then go and find another local blue plaque!

Lovely fire and a glass of wine was waiting on our return. I was only having a drink over the weekend but Matt then said he was well enough to have a glass… so easily tempted!

The evening was rounded off with a pub quiz with Martin. First night we couldn’t quite get the technology to work so resorted to TV instead! Lovely treat!
Positive Thought: very impressed with how we are using all the things from way back in the store cupboard and just maximising all our cooking due to being at home /and having the time- eg the roast chicken carcass was boiled to provide the stick which we used for today’s chowder and tonight’s risotto! Fab!
