So today Boris was all about the special thank you to everyone who has now volunteered to help the NHS and how the figures are up to 500k..amazing … I applied too but guess might be waiting a while to hear.
The helpers are needed for delivering food and medicines, driving patients to appointments and phoning the isolated.
The scheme is one of a number aimed at relieving pressure on the NHS
463 deaths …. oh and even Prince Charles has it now! Eek
So we were slightly out of synch today meaning we didn’t get chance to do yoga this morning- I did the mistake of starting to tidy Millen’s room and realised all his sports kits and all his school uniform needed a good old clean so trying to get on top of the all the washing- very bizarre looking at Millen’s cricket stuff thinking there’s a possibility he won’t even wear this stuff this summer… anyway we all did Joe Wicks’s PE this morning. It was great fun… something tells me that Arushi, Matt and I are enjoying it more than the boys as they seem to be playing with the ball or the dog a lot of the time!
Eashan then started his morning learning a little about our natural wildlife thanks to Steve Backshall. He is such a positive and uplifting guy and so knowledgable!
Supplies were a bit low today so I headed out and it was such a glorious day that not only did I wear a skirt but Birkenstocks too!

The coop was so much more stocked than on my last visit so that was another great thing about today… but some shelves still so bare!

Arushi and I had a challenging time making a carrot cake through a live show…. it wasn’t as much fun as I’d hoped if I’m honest- -Arushi likes to chat ( which of course is lovely) but the that meant we didn’t hear or see what was meant to happen next… Anyway another skill to hone in on and improve ! It did literally produce the best carrot cake ever! So now only need to remember the ingredients and the method!🤣( applaud first emoji of the blog…. actually wait for it…🙌🏽… so much better)

After we had half devoured it! Oops!
The afternoon was spent with Arushi and Eashan playing on the computer and Eashan having a LOT of iPad world- not my favourite of the possible activities for everyone but hey ho… they enjoyed it and I needed to get some work done too!

Following a walk for Luna and supper and some chores we then had a super exciting plan- charades with the opposite neighbours! Charades a la Covid-19 style. It was so much fun and we laughed a lot!

Matt went to bed after that – physically a bit wrecked as calf still giving him gyp and PE session didn’t help… mind you now I’m worried… I had a smoked aubergine thing for lunch… couldn’t taste the smokiness… tonight I had some Stilton… again couldn’t taste it….. am I getting it??or shit have I got it and should be self isolating???
Positive thought of the day
How much fun charades can be and everything being taken away from us has let us use our brains and think how we can be creative, innovative and sociable whilst maintaining our physical distance!
