I’ve just had to rewrite this as I lost my whole post – grrrrr. So I’m not quite sure of numbers etc for covid 19 but needless to say they weren’t great again. Main message was Matt Hancock telling us the weather was going to be lovely this weekend but to stay local.
So Arushi kindly set her alarm early to walk Luna today meaning I could have a lie in and then do my own exercise class- I did the pscycle one- it was great! Just as I was finishing Arushi returned to go and cheer the bin men for all their hard work. Our gorgeous neighbours across the road had made this sign too for them!

Matty still wasn’t feeling great but as it is his last day as work for a week (the skiing holiday starts tomorrow😌 and if he doesn’t take his booked annual leave he then loses it… not sure it will be the most exhilarating holiday ever but we might get some pictures framed and hung up !🤞🏽)
We then launched into some family yoga and balancing! This was a great start to the day.

It was the last day of term for Eashan so He finished his school and the other two launched into an art day.
Arushi was inspired by the NHS and bin shout out that she wrote a lovely note for Lena our gorgeous post lady.

We had a go at doing some murals with positive messages .

We even attempted to make our own money!

The cake and cookie supply was looking very depleted so I attempted to make some bakewell squares …

The boys and I then went for a walk with Luna and the frisbee. I’m used to having my hour outside in the mornings which has been glorious but actually going this time of day is wonderfully social and so brilliant seeing so many friendly faces and exchanging hellos and stories . It did mean that we didn’t get very far though so not a great day for me for steps! Oh well!

We headed back for our usual FaceTime chat with Nani and Nanu and then a game with the Hoopers after supper but I completely failed to take a pic for the blog! Oops. Standards are slipping! No surprise there! Nonetheless alway lovely to chat to M and D and play with the Hoopers.

Today we would have been packing up and having an early night for skiing tomorrow morning. It is clearly a privilege to have holidays like that! And because we’ve known for a little while we couldn’t go we have been ok about it but we did feel a little sad tonight… so we attempted to do something creative with that instead… this was the result.
Loved this brilliant reply with all the ski clobber!
Positive Thought: On my walk this afternoon I saw so many friendly faces and it was so good for the soul to see lovely neighbours and friends. A definite big shout out to seeing Caroline ‘s amazing 70 year old mama and her gorgeous twin brother- they are amazing and Lyndsey especially with her relentless energy and thirst for books, nature and theatre was just heart warming. I literally could have spoken to them all night but they had to frogmarch off for their family what’s app at 630! Love that!
