I’ve not written much in terms of news recently as it does seem to something just all be a bit incongruous and not make any sense. In fact one of the things I forgot to post about was Matt’s self amusement of his Boris impression – we’ve been having it for days and it makes him chuckle non stop …. so I’m posting it now so I don’t forget what it looks like!
Matt and Millen went out for another run whilst I did some workout…. it’s great they are running so much. Matt said I must be feeling loads fitter too … err no! Need to stop eating cake for that to happen!
School and work was positively fun today knowing it’s half term next week… until we realised half term isn’t that much fun when you don’t have any plans! Anyway no negativity! We had hoped to go and see M and D and sit in the garden … but the nurse has said No. I guess we were expecting it … but who knows when we can actually see them again and that’s just heartbreaking … anyway we need to be grateful for technology that’s for sure!
Arushi finished her exams today so that’s brilliant news for her and subsequently finished at lunchtime !
John sent us this video saying it reminded him of Millen and Eashan…. I could see why!
Not a great re- enactment…. but the boys gave it a go! Caused hilarity and something new to do!
The afternoon as normal now was spent playing table tennis- we are playing a LOT so that’s good! I went to meet Dee for a SD walk today so it was lovely to see her ! Clapham Common was heaving… obviously so many people don’t have gardens and so many people are fed up of not being social… we all know it’s happening but let’s hope we don’t get any poor consequences from this. Matt went for another bike ride with Matt G bit this time only to Crystal Palace so he’s deffo stepped up the exercise again which is great for him.
Home made pizzas and then collapsed in front of the TV for some high brow Sewing Bee and Jonathan Creek. Forgot to say Matty has been modelling some of his shaving on Patrick from Sewing Bee so we keen to show me the resemblance….. not sure I can see it though!
Arushi had a virtual sleepover with her friends that was sweet including outfit challenges, games and Netflix party so we didn’t see her for the evening but so pleased she was having fun.
Positive Note: Great to see Matty being super active again as think the virus ( or whatever he had) did really knock it out of him so great to see back to full on super fit energy levels that we can all be insanely jealous of!
