As we prepare for the return for the reception, year 1 and year 6 group from after half term … it all feels very strange as so many groups arguing about this still. As you would expect the unions are very anti this move, parents (well the majority) want a return to normality… it’s all very strange.
The chairman of the British Medical Association (BMA) has also waded into the debate, saying the Government should not consider reopening schools until the case numbers are “much lower”…., whilst the deputy chief medical advisor is saying it’s all ok! Meanwhile we are still plodding on in our little routine.
There is not a lot to write about during the working day, but in the early evening we had arranged to meet for a walk with Ben and Swapna which was lovely and nice that lots of school kids can also catch up.

We watched some “my family” tonight which the kids find absolutely hilarious and we all think Millen is Nick.

Positive Note: With all the conflicting advice and worries of a spike of the virus and even more worryingly l, the number rising today, I do feel anxious how we are going to come out of this and stop people getting sick or even dying with no vaccine and how we are going to restore the economy back from the deep hole it has plunged into …. I know…..I know …. this is not sounding very positive … but we have to take it one day at a time and just be grateful that our families and friends are all ok. We have food, warm homes and loved ones…. we are ok and just need to take deep breaths.
