Seriously worrying …
The UK has seen its biggest daily spike in deaths from coronavirus with 89, taking the nationwide total to 424.
So no Boris today… instead the press conference was chaired by Health Secretary Matt Hancock and deputy chief medical officer Dr Jenny Harries. The conference took place virtually meaning no media was present and instead they dialled in with questions. Deffo didn’t have the same impact as the ones before but thank goodness they are actually practising what they are preaching now about the social distancing… or as I prefer it, physical distancing. Sounds a little less cold…. anyway where is Boris… I never thought I’d say this but I really hope he’s not sick…. do you know who’s taking over as prime minister if he goes down……. Dominic Raab!!! Seriously!
Main message- turning the huge excel centre into a hospital and the NHS needs a quarter of a million volunteers! I’ll bung my name down! I don’t have to work tomorrow now as not on the rota so feel I should be giving some of my time back!
So today… I woke up around 5am feeling more like normal and laid in bed until Luna woke… then speedily googled if it was ok to walk her… I guess the walk counts as my exercise and then one of the others will have to take her later. Such a gorgeous walk. Fresh Spring day and the Common has quite a few dog walkers and joggers but everyone giving each other a good 2M berth. Luna even kept on coming back to me everytime I called her- so that’s real progress ( oh and I also gave her a LOT of treats)
Arushi called me whilst I was out to see if I was ready for yoga and inform me she had woken Dad to get him ready. No lie ins for us. Yoga was fun and today we even gave Luna her own yoga mat….. she stayed on it for about 3 seconds but hopefully she might double that tomorrow!
Following yoga and PE with Joe wicks and his other 930,000 viewers the children did some school work and then we went onto art- some doodling thanks to illustrator Rob Boddulph and then shadow puppets.
The afternoon involved some school work and then lots of house party chats, story times and even more game times with Uncle Martin.
