A pretty low key day today. Matty headed off for an epic bike ride again and the four of us went to play cricket with the SDs- lovely to see them and actually played in the dog free area of the common which was a bit more chilled than the bit near us. Isla and Arushi walked Luna and that meant Emma and I could have a good catch up.
However as previously mentioned some of the meet ups are getting out of control. Apparently yesterday the police were out on the common… … I didn’t expect it to be like this though!

Having said that we saw a few people on the way and that is always so nice!

In the afternoon we got on with lots of jobs that involved ladders and jet washers and admin. So all far too boring to write about ! However I felt rather proud of myself ( if I needed to suppress my OCD for cleanliness) by encouraging the kids to get creative with art … all was fine until they insisted on using the paints… but milestone achieved… they did it and I didn’t hover around too much wiping every thing up… even though I kept suggesting pastels or felt tips would look great!!

As for the news today… well like I’ve mentioned before we are changing directions all the time… I think there’s an official name for it now… coronacoaster…. I think Boris’s hope for being the next Churchill to lead his country out of this mess and then build it up again is most definitely slipping away…. nah not even slipping away … simply thrown away with no chance of a comeback at all … with senior gvt advisors being caught for literally flouting lockdown rules and no clear path for schools reopening, a vaccination or even a clear antibody test being released…. with all of that… this made me chuckle!

Still having trouble with Luna and sleep… look at this hideous text from our neighbour! She’s such a pain… I don’t even know how to answer it. And what is particularly annoying is that she does not bark all the time… it’s only when she’s left alone… which I’m pretty sure lots of dogs will be doing too. Pain from day 1 so it’s just got my goat up… anyway Luna has thankfully stopped ( she must have sensed the text… such a clever dog😉) and to get myself out of this bad mood I’m listening to Elizabeth Day with the amazing Mo Gawdat! Now that’s an inspirational guy!

Positive Note: Luna actually went to sleep!
