So for the last few days I’ve been collecting stuff for refugees living in home office accommodation …. it’s so heartwarming to see the generosity of everyone… I can’t even get out of our door! So I spent the morning sorting that stuff out.
Then after lunch I literally thought I’d hit the jackpot… after several weeks of trying to get an online shopping delivery we tried the major supermarkets again today and BINGO… Sainsburys said yes!!! So have spent ages ordering the food ( the reason I hate online shopping and never have been a fan of the supermarket shop) but am super excited that I hopefully have done this!
However it has been an afternoon of a huge amount of creativity!
Biggest drama today was our walk with Luna- all pretty normal until after she adopted her usual pooing stance I realised the poor thing was struggling to get her poo out…. she was constipated! It was awful. There was poo hanging out of her botty and it just wasn’t shifting. I tried to scoop it away ( with a poop bag for a glove) but to no avail. I tried a stick to wipe it away but that wasn’t successful either. In the end we limped home and thought we would just have to get her in the bath and adorn gloves whilst literally drip feeding her treats. Ooh it wasn’t pleasant… nor dignified for her … poor thing! I managed to get away from it as wasn’t enjoying it, Arushi enthusiastically volunteered at the opportunity (two reasons – a, it’s a dog, and b, it means she can stop doing revision – I know her tactics…), and Matt scraping poo from her bum!
The boys made a den today and are now sleeping in it in the sitting room… leaves me to the positive Note- boys are very close to the kitchen … means they can hear the puppy yapping and might want to abet her!
