The news is saturated with the calling for sacking Dominic Cummings who flouted the lockdown rules by driving up to Durham from London when he and his partner were sick so his parents could help with childcare… people were unable to visit families/ sick families… even funerals. So yes I see why the outrage has been turned on but also I can’t bare the way it’s all about him and getting him sacked… will that bring back the time we could have spent with families.. no, will those who have devastatingly not been able to say goodbye to relative be able to now say goodbye.. no…. yes what he has done is bad, the fact Boris hasn’t sacked him is worse but admit there needs to be an investigation into this and concentrate on how we get out of this mess rather than looking backwards… rant over.
We headed to see Miss Amy and a walk with Dotty and Oscar. Wow it’s another world having a horse. She has Dotty in Liveries – this farm is gorgeous and only 10 mins away from her home in Croydon and it’s such stunning views . We had a beautiful walk with them.

We needed the loo so Amy took us home for some social distance using of her loo. Lovely to see Matt working away in the garden and her flat and all her treasures. She has worked so hard to get the business up and going and get a lovely home for them.
When we returned home we had some rather exciting news!! Eashan’s beautiful print of the Indian temple hasaccepted into the young Artust summer show not only online but will be exhibited at The Royal Academy!! Exhibition will be in Sept! There were over 17000 submissions!

This is the wording that went with his Indian Temple. Student name: Eashan Treanor School year: Year 3 Age: 8 Artwork type: Print Dimensions: 37(w) 54.5(h) 3(d) mm Description: This is a collagraph print that I made.. I used lots of materials to create the template -mainly cardboard and fabrics . It was printed on with a relief press using green inks. I added a monkey and tiger as these are animals that you find in India… would they visit a temple?? Who knows but it’s exciting thinking they might!”

We finished our socialising for the day with a zoom call with Johnny, Milly and Bea and then headed off for a bit of catch up tv.
Positive Note: Wow has to be that Eashan’s work is going to adorn a very small part of the Royal Academy’s wall… how amazing is that!
