Boris Johnson is back! He has promised to set out plans to win the “second phase” in the battle to defeat coronavirus, including “refining” the lockdown “in the coming days”.
Matty and Arushi walked Luna today meaning I got a fab lie in and so didn’t get out of bed till 645! Nice! Then headed straight to exercise .
School lessons begun. Eashan’s school has deffo ramped it up and given him lots more stuff.
We headed out for a walk after school in attempt of posting some parcels again. No amount of ramming or shoving would get the parcels through the slim gap in the letter box so our walk diverted to the post box but that now closes at 3. Wow it’s not that easy to post a parcel any more … and I was feeling all smug as Matt had bought the postage online and just printed out the franked post mark… alas.. not to be!
I have dived between work calls and emails so On our return home we couldn’t wait any longer( and wanting to keep the kids entertained) and turned the tv on to watch the final episode of Race around the world. It was a nail biting finish – Millen who can’t do anything scary or remotely tense had to watch something on another screen , Arushi couldn’t sit down and was stood up pouncing around like a restless puma and Eashan dragged his seat millimetres away from the screen to get a good look…. such different approaches from the 3 of them!
We then did the National theatre monthly pub quiz with Martin which made us feel quite thick but luckily for us the internet seemed to fail tonight so we could blame our poor performance on poor connection!
Usual shenanigans with bedtimes with Lunatic Luna, sleep avoiding children, reading , family and friend scratch ups and retiring to bed knackered at 9pm… but then to be fair I don’t sleep till about 11 so maybe it’s not that bad!
Positive note: I got an email thanking me from behalf of the whole country! 🤣
