Not sure how it’s Friday already. The week has whizzed by- or maybe we are just getting into the groove of the lockdown…. also it was a 4 day week so am sure that helped too!
I was lucky enough to have the company of Eashan on our morning walk today. It was such a beautiful morning again and whilst my leaving the house can vary by an hour or so I am loving the comfort of the familiarity of people’s routines – the pious lacrosse young teenager and his huge goal net that he brings over every morning…. and his supportive mum who coaches him from her camping chair with her big vat of steaming coffee: the Bose sound deafeners and his diligent skipping next to the lady Allen playground, the elderly dogless couple who stride round the common ….. just a few of the sightings I have…. see I’m so urban. But I am noticing more of the trees and the flowers now… even a bird or two.

The day was a flurry of activities which invoked reading, drawing, chatting to friends, cooking, cleaning and even some Nintendo for the boys!

More illustration time with Eugene the owl

With Uncle Martin and transforming their kitchen background into some paradise beach setting instead! If only!

if her friends from school where she came 3rd,
which was fun

Positive Thought- Luna! She’s brought so much to our family. Even though we affectionately call Arushi DB ( Dog bore) she cares so much for her… she gets up early regularly to walk her . Eashan never gets cross with her and his tone of voice is so loving with her. Millen wants to cuddle her all the time. And Matt … I think he’s got a 4th child the way he chats to her and adores her…. and spoons off a lot of yummy food from our plates for her- tonight she had 2 helpings of mousakka!! But all joking aside she’s definitely a bundle of fun in these darker times.
