Day 45 Monday May 4th 2020

The number of people with COVID-19 who have died in the UK has risen by 288, bringing the total to 28,734.

The latest figure from the Department of Health is for coronavirus-related fatalities as of 5pm on Sunday in all settings, including hospitals, care homes and the wider community…. some positive news finally!

It is the lowest daily increase since the end of March, Health Secretary Matt Hancock said.

This is literally Eashan’s favourite day of the year being such a Star Wars fan! I’ve not seen any of original Star Wars films and really need to feign some interest in them for him! I received this rather gorgeous video today from the lovely Miss Amy

So little to write about today which is worrying – but it’s literally school , cleaning, shopping and admin today … I got extremely cross with Millen aka Trigger as he can’t help himself but touch buttons after buttons whilst learning at school- it’s too much of a distraction for him… anyway enough of that!

Positive Note- Swathee and I went to see Charlie today as they are moving ( gulp) on Wednesday. So lovely to see these two gorgeous friends . We tried to what’s app Caroline too but she wasn’t around… but what I’m trying to say is … whilst these gorgeous girls are near and far… what lovely friends that are… ooh poetry!
