Priti Patel chaired the daily briefing from Downing Street, on the day the UK became the fifth country to record over 20,000 coronavirus deaths. She said criminals are trying to “exploit and capitalise” during the pandemic…. that explains the helicopter hovering over the common for half an hour or so today … street tunour is that there is some guy in a motorised scooter going up and and down the common mugging people. Nice!
SERIOUSLY SHORT BLOG ALERT!
Such a mega lazy day …we all slept in this morning. Matt woke at 6 with Luna and when I went down at 8 both of them were asleep on the sofa. The children didn’t come down till 930! I was going to take Luna out but she was asleep by the time I got myself sorted so it was a very relaxed start to the day…. Eashan had a basket ball session at 11 and Matt did a sterling job cleaning our floor.
Millen and Eashan then did their football Session and then we had a leisurely lunch . The afternoon included music for the kids, baking and cooking for Matt and I.
On my afternoon walk with Luna, it’s always so nice bumping into so many friends but today whilst busily chatting she chewed right through her lead and ran off… if that’s a message to say stop talking and do some walking I don’t know what is! She somehow listened obediently to my shrill panic yell so managed to swoop her up into my arms and carry her home. Maybe a chain lead now for this teething little pup!
We rounded off the evening with some TV which was a treat- we introduced the children to the cheesy family sit com “My family” and some even more outdated “Jonathan Creek”. All quality viewing!😂
Positive Note: Lazy days are very much needed.
