News update
At least 1,019 people have now died in the UK -an increase of 260 in 24 hours.
That means the total number of deaths is 34% higher than the equivalent figure yesterday. This is the largest day-on-day percentage increase since March 18, when the total rose from 71 to 104 (a 46% jump).
It took 13 days for the number of deaths in the UK to go from one to just over 100. It has taken a further 10 days for the total to go from just over 100 to just over 1,000.
I was abruptly awoken by a bloody-nosed Millen who literally looked like he’d gone 10 rounds with Mike Tyson. The blood was all coagulated and sticky – the poor boy couldn’t stand so despite my efforts to get him to clean up, he lay on the floor in a crimson mess…. the proud housewife side of me was super grateful that he was lying on the bathroom tiled floor rather than my new carpet. Anyway we got him to drink a gallon of water and then he rested, but then Luna heard all the commotion so started howling meaning I was cajoling her to have a wee in the garden at 430am – as she has been used to so much human contact, it meant she whined everytime I left or tried to creep up the stairs! So hard. On the plus side it meant I could wash all the blood stained linen and catch up with the blog!
I managed to tiptoe upstairs around 730am but Luna started to whine again but luckily Matt said he was feeling a bit better so left Millen and I in bed and when I rose at 10am Matt was making pancakes for everyone! HURRAY!!! So good to have his company again. He’s still not 100% so needs some rest but he’s around more! Wonderful!
We all finished off bits of admin and playing with Luna before a yummy lunch of lentils cooked by Matt.
The children had music so we used this time to clean floors, laundry, wash, clean etc…. so much more time in the house generates a LOT more dirt ! Oh and obvs no cleaner now – wow I miss her!! £
And then we had a lovely surprise package delivered by gorgeous Charlie. How thoughtful is this! It was so nice to see her beautiful smiling face for a few minutes albeit at a suitable distance -what a gorgeous treat is this?

We then headed for a walk around the neighbourhood … times are a changing…. check out the queue at Bayley and Sage. Who cares if a single strawberry costs £2… it’s a fresh strawberry!

We headed home to have Roast chicken and a chat with Uncle Martin over supper and a little listen to Arushi with her new rather large double bass!!!
After our musical interlude we finished the night off with some Fibbage played with the Hoopers. Lovely to see them!
All a bit knackered tonight so headed to bed early around 930. Clocks go forward tonight too.
Positive Thought: My lovely friends – deliveries, texts, phone calls, interactive games…. all bloody amazing! Thank you x
