Day 17 Monday April 6th 2020

So today’s news was “ It is too early to consider a strategy for exiting the coronavirus lockdown, the foreign secretary has said.

Dominic Raab said the current measures were “beginning to work” – but shifting focus could mean “we won’t get through the peak as fast as we need to”.

He added Boris Johnson remained in charge of the government from hospital, where the PM spent the night receiving treatment for coronavirus symptoms. Dominic Raab was terrible and we are really screwed if he’s left in charge… There were some ridiculous questions about if Boris isn’t that unwell ( they kept saying it was precautionary) then why is he taking up a valuable bed….. I turned it all off today!

I had a lie in this morning – Matt is better so he and Eashan took Luna for her morning walk. Blissful. Millen and I did a great work out- not that there is anything wrong with Joe Wicks but it was great to do a bit more of a grown up workout- we did the orange therapy one and I was fortunate enough to do it with Millen too which was great fun.

Today has been my least productive day so far. It was all fine but literally spent most of the day cleaning (not that you could tell), cooking and baking (the cake I attempted for a birthday cake failured miserably) and the chocolate nut fudge thing worked but literally it must be about a zillion calories for a mouthful. Needless to say the children loved it- what’s not to love? The ingredients were chocolate, nuts, butter and sugar!
