So today was all about getting geared up for work with calls and emails and reading and watching lessons and also worse thing ever I’m writing this 2 days later so not exactly sure of what happened except for the fact that it was raining all day!
It was a miserable day – Luna didn’t seem to be in a hurry for a walk so we thought we’d try a bit later and when Matt did ( combined with a trip to the post office) he discovered she is a fine weather dog and just froze outside the house and would not move an inch…. Matt ended up driving to the post office!!!😂
I do feel pretty gutted to be going back to work as I’ve really enjoyed being around at home but then again being furloughed for 3 weeks only ( 2.5 weeks of that was actually the Easter hols) and then getting used to the idea of being paid for hanging at home and then that being taken away to you working all your normal hours again and more and needing to go into work half the time too is enough to send anyone into a bit of a tizz isn’t it?
The horrendous rain also literally dampened the mood. Exercise happened inside which was not pleasant.
I met Shubs and Swathee for an umbrella socially distanced walk which was lovely whilst the boys had cubs showing off their stop motion and filming efforts! Hilarious!
Positive Note: scavenger hut with Cubs with letters made me laugh- when it came to Fruit – Eashan yelling to the screen ‘ This is a kumquat”… something he had retrieved from our kumquat tree from Vicki! Matty has managed to revive it- when I asked him how…. he said water… I swear I was feeding that everyday!!!
