A total of 1,789 patients have died in hospital after testing positive for coronavirus in the UK. I feel I’ve said that a lot this blog… what does that tell us?
I woke around 5 and toyed with the idea of getting up for a nanosecond before I reached for my phone just to while away the time for an hour and a half doing absolutely nothing useful… then I promptly fell asleep just before 7 and didn’t wake till 9. Oh dear!
The morning was spent doing some work – but I do question my productivity or lack of it! Hopefully everyone is feeling the same way from the cabin fever!
Arushi then planted our seeds which my parents in law had kindly sent so that was good.
The afternoon was spent with the kids doing various bits of art and we all had a go at origami…. not terribly successfully!
Eashan spent the afternoon playing chessWe all attempted some origami …Not completely successfully- they are meant to be flowers!!!In some of my tidying of cupboards, we found a lovely biscuit set given to Eashan as a take home gift from a party. The best before date was tomorrow! Phew just made it in time!Today’s illustration class efforts Burger buns made by Millen… lovely but HUGE!Discovered these in the Coop- OMG literally life changing! Super yum!The boys had a virtual cubs meeting which was lovely.I had an impromptu chat with these gorgeous girls- lovely and reassuring to know that we are all finding it a lot harder this week- in fact that’s my positive note- Thank goodness for wonderful friends who also finding the cooking, cleaning and tidying insurmountable .. we will get there ladies!
