LONDON (Reuters) – Britain now has Europe’s second highest official COVID-19 death toll with more than 26,000, according to figures published on Wednesday that raised questions about Prime Minister Boris Johnson’s response to the outbreak.
Some 26,097 people died across the United Kingdom after testing positive for COVID-19 as of April 28 at 1600 GMT, Public Health England (PHE) said, citing daily figures that included deaths outside of hospital settings for the first time.
That means the United Kingdom has suffered more COVID-19 deaths than France or Spain have reported, though less than Italy, which has Europe’s highest death toll and the second worst in the world after the United States.
So today was my first day back to work. Luna wasn’t that sympathetic and still woke at 530am so I managed to walk her before I left but not enough time for exercise.
Driving to school was quick but I was definitely shocked at how much traffic is on the roads. It was eerily quiet being in school… literally like the apocalypse now.
It was nice to see Rachael and Andy and they were great to work along side and then it was fab seeing the girls but it was a full on day as even though there’s only 11 kids they range from 4-10 years old and so we have to work with them through all their work, their technical issues for the older ones, their avoidance tactics for certain work and then their different emotions. But it was all ok but it obviously means no photos and not a lot I’m allowed to use in the blog so sorry !
I can home and Arushi was just walking Luna so I went with her. Upon returning home I heard that it had been full on and boys bursting into live calls with Matt so Arushi kindly took charge when Matt couldn’t and was amazing at helping them and guiding them!
So little to write today as it was literally a work day.. and then sorting out stuff when I came home. What a depressing blog today!

Positive Thought: So proud of my gorgeous girl Arushi who helped the boys today and just sorted them out way better than Matt or I could do!!
