The UK now has the highest number of coronavirus deaths in Europe, according to the latest government figures…. wow so we’ve beaten Italy. Guess we knew it was coming.
I had the shock of my life when I got up this morning. I’m not sure I mentioned it but in attempt to have a bit more of a lie in as 5.15am was a touch on the early side we thought we would try letting her just sleep on her bed in the kitchen as in not in the crate…. it’s been going ok actually… as in we aren’t getting woken up but there might be a wee by the door or even more joyous – a poo! So we are going backwards with potty training! Anyway she wasn’t in the kitchen when I went down about 630 this mornings- not the loo , nor the den, the sitting room… next thing I know I’m screaming her name as I’m running up stairs and subsequently waking everyone… sheer terror has overcome me with images of a dead Luna flashing in my head… clearly I need more sleep as then I noticed… Arushi’s bedroom door was wide open so realised that she had taken Luna for a walk. I quickly called her to check and then tried to cajole everyone else back to bed…. shows how much we all love her!
Arushi joined me for some exercise when she was back and we all kicked off our days after breakfasts and showers. Today was way more chilled … maybe it’s because we had lots more creative stuff going on.
It is cinquo de mayo after all!
Car designs- we’ve not drawn together for a while so this was lovely!
I had a social distance walk with Jannike which was nice … I’m enjoying the 1-2-1 conversations … not very good at the big group ones now as it’s all a bit weird with the delay, the drop of sound, the shy person not feeling very comfortable or the loud mouth being over bearing!
The boys had cubs…. I had a gorgeous MLC chat … and Matty and I tried to finish our first box set of the lockdown… it’s only got 4 episodes but after 2 nights we still haven’t quite made it.. but it’s brilliant. Hopefully will finish unorthodox tomorrow!
Positive Note: Insurance at school has said no to taking the boys to school so I don’t have to go in tomorrow! Exciting! Still need to work but don’t need to go in. Great stuff!
