I attempted to do some shopping today – mainly for more cleaning stuff as we are going through it quite quickly and aren’t achieving a patch on what Catarina our lovely cleaner does… but we all got involved. Eashan’s vacuuming has something to be desired but the rest of them were pretty impressive! The house is filthy and what with the constant cooking, cleaning and tidying it can get a bit frustrating so good to get everyone involved and maybe not be so anal about the tidiness of the house especially considering everyone running in and out of the wet/muddy outside and a non-house trained soil loving puppy!
The children have started writing a play. After discussing all the different genres they are going for a crime theme.
Today was probably our least productive day and I didn’t feel great about it…. it took us about an hour and a half to get out in the afternoon for some football keepy uppies but we managed it in the end. Had a quiz with Uncle Martin and then I headed to bed at 9pm listening to Elizabeth Day’s how to fail podcast as recommended by several friends- kind of needed to just not worry about having not achieved a lot today and subsequently feel asleep! Sorry for the blog not being quite as creative as always! Also Boris has just been admitted into intensive care!!! OM G!
Positive thought! it’s actually ok to have days where we don’t achieve that much and it’s important to be kind to ourselves !
