Ahh such a lovely family day today. I’ve seen the Budapest gang they’ve been a font of knowledge regarding walks… as well as many other things. Yesterday Bruce and family had enjoyed this walk near Guildford.. so we copied them! it started next to the Watts gallery which is another new experience for me- sadly not open currently but another place to add to my bucket list. We were following a suggested 10k route around the woods bypassing Losely house ( yum ice creams) and the River Wey. It was such a heavenly walk.. it’s actually a great mountain bike trail too… and best of all it was pretty quiet considering it was only 40 mins out of London.
Even the natural play park was open – yes we were allowed to use the swings! Radical!

We headed back to join Ruby for her bday picnic. It was such a stunning day- it was quite surreal catching up with friends enjoying cake and prosecco and the children playing … felt like lockdown didn’t really exist today!

Excitedly the Barrows are back – they went the day i started this blog! So exciting having them back again!

Positive Note: wow so many- discovering more exciting walks ( this one actually linked up to St Catherine’s dock where we swam last time) so it’s nice to start getting some bearings of places, lovely time with my family, lovely time with friends, lovely friends back after being away… apart from overuse of the word lovely- all pretty fantastic!
