Matt took Millen this morning so I could try and get some exercise in… it’s interesting to see as things start slowly reverting back to normality and we are whizzing around a bit more some of the things we had really enjoyed are naturally being squeezed out…. so I really want to try and find a solution for this not to happen!
Work day for Matt and I, but at lunchtime I’d arranged to say a quick hello to Emma and co on the common .That was lovely! Caroline was there with her gorgeous brood too but it was the first time Mango and Luna have seen each other since they first arrived in our lives around beginning of March!! “Lungo” as we have affectingly called their friendship was deffo blooming… they could not get enough of each other..chasing after each other , hurdling over each other, pawing each other and continually wagging tails. Mango being a Labrador and having been trained to listen to her whistle meant she would come bounding back as soon as Caroline tooted it… Luna being so ecstatic at having this new bestie in her life was not going to let Mango out of her sight.. which fortuitously meant for us that she did keep returning! So much fun was had that she plunged herself into a muddy, dirty puddle! Oh dear! It was that bad the kitchen was splattered with mud from her shakes and she needed a bath!
Once again it was good to get away from my desk for half an hour and Eashan loved seeing his friends. We went to pick up Millen at the end of the school day who once again was ecstatic as it was fish and chips at school….. so all good!
We were invited to Paridhi and Simon’s so headed there whilst the kids watched the sound of music..can’t quite believe they’ve not seen it yet! Great to see P and S and catch up with their news!
Positive Note: The Nice weather is back and everything is slowly opening up…. yes it took me 45 minutes to queue for some wrapping paper at Paperchase today but at least it was Sunny and a couple of different friends saw me so nice to have a chat, but my worry is.. how long will it be till we are pushed for time and it’s not sunny and you see no one… won’t be so chilled then… anyway that’s not the point for the positive note is it! Good to feel and see the community again opening up!
